Lyrics
Hush-a-bye my love, hush-a-bye my dove
Find your rest, upon my breast, and sleep
Listen now and hear, about my love so dear
Silent now, you’re sleeping now so deep.
Hosanna praise the name, praise his holy name
Of the one, God’s only son, the King
Hosanna child so fine, gift of God, now mine
My baby bright, into the light, I bring
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna sing and praise
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna sing and praise
Hold her by the hand, lead her where you planned
Everyday along the way secure
Whisper in her ear, to let her know you’re near
All her days and all her ways assured
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna sing and praise
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna sing and praise
Teach her wrong from right, to walk by faith, not sight
To know the good, and what she should, the true
Let her heart be free, as she was meant to be
And may she stay upon the Way with You.
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna sing and praise
Hosanna, Hosanna, Hosanna sing and praise

Such a beautiful song!
Thanks, Marina. I often ask my wife to write more songs with me. She’s just completed the music for what is currently titled, “Are You Sore and Lost and Broken.” (See “A Song for Sammy” from 10-12-2023.) Lori’s music is magnificent. She gets particularly excited about writing songs for new grandkids!
